Technical Principle

RIBXCAR® technology is based on the plasticity principle of rib cartilage tissue. Using ultrasound-guided, minimally invasive percutaneous intervention, surgeons can precisely adjust the angle of the rib arch. This allows the reshaping of the rib cartilage region to create a sculpted waistline, while preserving the integrity of the thoracic structure.
 

Rib Cage Anatomy Overview:

True ribs (1st–7th): Directly connected to the sternum via cartilage
False ribs (8th–10th): Indirectly connected to the sternum
Floating ribs (11th–12th): Not connected to the sternum, shorter and more curved
